*Document Process Outsourcing or DPO refers to the outsourcing of document processing flows, which takes in the entire management of the life cycle of the documents.
Specialising in the outsourcing of services for the past 40 years, today independent French Group Numen is stepping up its expansion with the incorporation of the activities of Diadeis Numérisation. On the look-out for for genuine synergy opportunities, Numen decided on a business whose know-how is complementary to its own expertise.
In doing so, the widely acclaimed skills of Diadeis Numérisation’s 650 staff in the areas of Documentation Engineering, Integrated Production management and the management of complex projects are brought in to complement the proficiency of the Numen teams.
This acquisition will also serve to strengthen the Group’s R&D activity with a dedicated 17-strong team.
Already operating across the whole of France with 11 sites in place, the takeover is set to enable Numen to roll out its complete service offering on an international scale, courtesy of Diadeis Numérisation’s sites in Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Madagascar.
With the takeover beefing up its data and sensitive document outsourcing activities, Numen is shoring up its strategy aimed at providing customers with a global offering, directly implemented by Numen’s teams over at customers’ premises or outsourced to one of its 15 shared external sites. The aim? To enable Numen’s customers to better manage transitions and threshold effects, have access to new technologies and secure efficiency gains, amongst other things by virtue of its solid innovative abilities and industrial clout.
Numen administers every stage of the document’s life cycle, from secure data capture and dynamic document composition, to electronic archive-storage and mass editing. With the acquisition of Diadeis Numérisation, the Group is expanding its offering and setting up a new Business Unit that will focus on heritage digitisation, i.e. the safekeeping and promotion of cultural heritage. As such, services available to customers include:
- capture: digitisation, OCR and video coding
